Aims – Friends of Barton Aerodrome

The aims of the Friends of Barton Aerodrome are as follows :

to increase the awareness of, provide support and assistance to, and aid in the improvement of The Aerodrome
to preserve and promote the history of The Aerodrome
to preserve and promote flying as a sport and recreational activity
to help make aviation more accessible to the general public
to generally further the charitable purposes of the association and encourage the development of the facilities afforded by it
to engage in, support, and co-ordinate research, publishing, education, advertising and other charitable work for the furtherance of the above objectives, providing that this is not in duplication or conflict with that already in existence by The Aerodrome
to promote good relations with, provide information to, and involve the local Community in all aspects of The Aerodrome where possible
