From time to time the Friends of Barton Aerodrome run photography competitions for their members. Many of our members are keen aviation photographs and as “plus” members have access to parts of the aerodrome not normally available to the public, which allows some excellent photographs of based and visiting aircraft to be taken.
We will also use some of the photographs submitted within this website and credit the photographer.
Each competition allows each member to submit up to five photographs that they have taken at Barton Aerodrome. The winning photograph is then displayed in the Airport Reception (bottom of the Control Tower) and also in Runway 26 Café. Currently each winner receives a voucher for use in Runway 26. In addition all winning photographs will be shown here.
Below are some recent winning photographs.
