Thanks to the support of City Airport / Barton Aerodrome Management & Staff, the Members of Friends of Barton Aerodrome (FoBA) have the unique opportunity to attend photo-shoots that visits parts of the Airport not normally available to photographers.

Three shoots are planned for 2022 and the first took place on Saturday 26th March. This shoot included a a visit to the Heliport where a pilot from the Air Ambulance service kindly spent a few minutes detailing their operation and the Eurocopter EC135s they utilise. This was followed by a visit to different locations adjacent to the active runway. Finally, a visit to the hangars was made to allow the photographers to capture some of the based interesting based aircraft.

Below are a few photos taken by Steve Petter on the day that capture this unique opportunity.
